Operational Staff Member
Hannah Reidy

Chief Executive Officer

Hannah joined WYC in Spring 2024 as a Projects Consultant, before stepping into the CEO role in September. She has a background in mental health charity management, most recently as the founding CEO of Mind HK - a mental health charity in Hong Kong. During this time, she worked with local and international partners to bring global best practice to Hong Kong's mental health scene, latterly with a focus on youth mental health.

Hannah is a UK trained Clinical Psychologist seeing adolescents and adults across the lifespan and holds a special interest in more complex mental health presentations, including psychosis.

Hannah is excited to work with the fantastic team at WYC to help provide better mental health support for young people in and around Winchester.

Hannah has a young family and loves travelling and visiting new places with them. WYC's focus on nature and the link between the planet and health is something that Hannah is also passionate about, and she encourages you all to spend time in the beautiful countryside around Winchester. You'll often find her doing just this, alongside the two unruly rescue dogs she brought back from Hong Kong.

Richard Maiden

Operations Manager

Richard joined WYC in September 2023 as office administrator and has since become Operations Manager. Prior to this, he worked for a large accountancy firm assisting businesses with restructuring & advisory work.

Richard enjoys working within the charity sector and is proud to be playing a part in the valuable work that WYC offers to young people in the Winchester district.

Richard is a father to 3 children, and a keen sportsman, with particular interest in football, pool, golf and running. Richard has taken on a number of challenges to raise money for local charities. These include the London Marathon, Great South Run & Great North Run as well as the 3 Peaks Challenge within 24 hours. His biggest endurance achievement to date was running / walking / crawling around the coast of the Isle of Wight; 66 miles in 18 hours!

Katy Seymour

Programmes Manager

Katy joined WYC in 2018. As a qualified Nurse and Primary School Teacher, Katy has a broad skill set and many years of experience working with children and young people.

After a decade of teaching, she has worked within the WYC team in various roles; as Office Administrator, Youth Engagement Lead and more recently as Programmes Manager. Her role involves coordinating and developing our group work, such as the parent support programme, parent support groups, Ukrainian support group and youth mental health drop-in service.

Katy also manages our youth board, social media channels and helps to facilitate the nature therapy sessions for 11-16yr olds. Katy has a keen interest in understanding and supporting young people's mental health and has completed training to support this.

She is passionate about engaging and empowering young people to have their voices heard.

Katy has two young children and loves to spend her spare time in the great outdoors; enjoying woodland walks, beach trips, sauna & cold water dips and travelling (with an ever growing bucket list)! Other interests of Katy’s include rock climbing, gardening, camping, music, mindfulness, and art & design.

Erin Tollefsen

Development Manager

Erin transitioned to the role of Grants Fundraising Manager in September 2024 after returning from maternity leave, and more recently to Development Manager, having previously taken the role of Chief Executive Officer since May 2021. Erin graduated with MSc Integrated Environmental Sciences in 2011 and she has worked in the charity sector for over ten years. She has worked alongside a diverse range of people, communities and causes including youth work, supporting adults and children with learning disabilities, and supporting people living with Dementia.

Erin is delighted to remain part of the wonderful team at WYC and excited to help secure vital funds to ensure the organisation moves from strength to strength to support young people in Winchester.

In her spare time, Erin is a keen gardener and will usually be found in the garden centre on the weekend. If she isn't there then you will find her in one of her three greenhouses, assisted by her son Freddie.

Lucy Futter

Development Manager

Lucy joined Winchester Youth Counselling as Development Manager (Maternity Cover) in June 2026. She brings over 25 years experience in fundraising, communications and partnership development across the charity, business and cultural sectors, helping organisations build meaningful relationships and grow their impact.

At WYC, Lucy is leading fundraising and partnership development to help ensure more young people can access vital mental health support across the Winchester district.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, travelling, and exploring the countryside and historic places.

Charlotte Andrews

Youth and Community Engagement Officer

Charlotte first joined WYC in October 2023 as a member of our Youth Board, working her way up to Youth Board Chair. Charlotte had recently joined the WYC staff team as Youth Outreach Worker and is now the Youth and Community Engagement Officer.

Charlotte is a psychology graduate. She has a background working in education in various different schools and nurseries, delivering SEN care, providing 1-1 support and also worked as a teaching assistant

Charlotte is a huge advocate for being in nature and the benefits this has on mental health. She loves getting involved in events, raising awareness and connecting with others about the importance of looking after ourselves and the community.

Charlotte also adores animals and will never miss an opportunity to say hello to a dog! She loves travelling, experiencing new things, trying new foods and above all, loves to socialise and have fun.

Bryony Williams

Research and Administration Officer

Bryony joined WYC in November 2024 as Research and Administration Officer. During her recent Psychology with Criminology Degree, she learnt a wide range of research and analytical skills, which sparked her keen interest in research and mental health.

Bryony is excited to work with WYC and help provide a positive impact to young people in the Winchester District Area.

In her free time, Bryony likes playing hockey, going on walks, playing board games and baking.
